It is very important that you read the information related to constitutions in the ANU Sport Club Affiliation Agreement.

What is a Club Constitution?

The Club’s Constitution is the guiding document for all policies and procedure. Clubs should make amendments to this document to ensure it remains useful and relevant. For an example see this club constitution template.

How to make an amendment to your club's constitution

The rules for amending a constitution need to be outlined in the constitution itself. The Constitution must be accepted by majority at a Special General Meeting of members of the Club. Before a Club amends its constitution, the Club must inform ANU Sport of the proposed changes to ensure any of the changes do not affect its affiliation. Clubs must submit the new constitution, the old constitution and indicate changes.
